Hello, I'm Cassandra!

I am a Communicative Disorders Assistant and a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology at Pennsylvania Western University.

I have experience working with both children and adults in schools, homes, and clinical settings. I’ve worked with a variety of communication needs, including articulation and phonological disorders, language development, fluency, and neurogenic communication disorders.

I especially enjoy working with children and finding ways to make therapy engaging and meaningful for my clients and their families!

What are your areas of interest?

My clinical interests include speech sound disorders, early language development, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. I enjoy using play-based approaches that build on my client’s strengths and interests.

What is your favourite speech therapy toy, game, or activity?

I love using interactive games that allow for lots of interaction and language opportunities. My favourites are toy cars, farm animals, and bubbles.

What is something fun or interesting about you that you’d like families to know?

Outside of school and work, I am a huge foodie and love trying new restaurants around the GTA. So please let me know your recommendations!
