Hello, I'm Robert!

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and a passionate advocate for individuals with a variety of communication needs. As someone who personally experiences stuttering, I bring a unique and empathetic perspective to my work and understand the importance of feeling comfortable and confident when communicating.

I graduated with an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from York University, followed by a Master’s degree in Linguistics from York University and a Master of Speech Pathology from Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia.

I am committed to providing individualized, supportive, and engaging therapy that helps clients build their communication skills and confidence. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where every client feels understood, supported, and empowered to communicate to the best of their ability.

What are your areas of interest?

I am interested in working with clients of all ages across a variety of communication needs. My areas of interest include stuttering, speech sounds, social communication, Autism, play skills, voice, and working with adults with acquired brain injuries and cognitive-communication difficulties.

What is your favourite speech therapy toy, game, or activity?

My favourite speech therapy tool is a mirror (the bigger, the better)! Mirrors provide immediate visual feedback and allows you to see yourself in the moment.

What is something fun or interesting about you that you'd like families to know?

I attended a speech therapy program at a summer camp at SickKids Hospital when I was younger. Attending that speech therapy program is what inspired me to become a Speech-Language Pathologist!
